Contents: Sustainable transformation to climate neutrality through planning cells and living labs
Projektbeschreibung: Within the project “KlimaPlanReal” an exchange between several universities dealing with quality of life and digitalisation supports different stakeholders within the region. After conducting a status-quo-analysis, so-called climate councils have been established at the universities, who are responsible for designing concrete subprojects. The project is subdivided into three phases:
Phase I: analysis and deliberation Phase II: transformation Phase III: analysis and evaluation
The participatory approach supports the dialog between different groups and included the stakeholders into the transformation process. The project aims to dissolves systemic blockades at universities and strengthens the dialog regarding sustainability within and outside of universities.
Goals:
- Developing sustainable transformation paths for climate neutrality
- Using planning cells and living labs to develop practical solutions
- Improving the cooperation between research facilities to develop strategies for climate protection
- Testing and evaluating innovative concepts in real scenarios
- Supporting political and economical stakeholders regarding planning and implementing measures for climate protection
