"IMIQ - Intelligenter Mobilitätsraum im Quartier" ("Intelligent Mobility Space in the District") is a project by the IMR, which is located at the Port of Science in Magdeburg. During its scheduled duration of four years, the Port of Science becomes a district of the future, where new solutions are conceived, technically tested, and socio-economically implemented in alignment with the citzens' needs.

Goals:

• Operation of a Level-4-automatised vehicle
• Developing a digital “work-life-twin” that puts the citizens into focus
• Setup of an interdisciplinary branch of research at the university
• Developing the Port of Science into a district of the future
• Transferring sustainable and intelligent transport solutions to the whole state of Saxony-Anhalt
